Hi there! Hope you all have figured out how to beat the heat this
summer... :)
Welcome to BusBus.in, its an honest effort to provide you with public
transport information for your cities,the idea was very simple:we all
need to use Public Transport to crib the ever growing traffic problem in
our cities,and this is hampering our daily life in and out;When we
visualized why isn't many using the public transport in our cities : we
noticed the information about Busroutes,Raliways isn't available at our
finger tips. Eg: if i got to make a trip from Jayanagar(BLR) to
Yelehanka (BLR) : I Swear i don't know which Bus to catch-up at this
point: if i could get this information on Web-WAP-Mobile-SMS, that would
atleast enable me to reach for information and possibly help me hop on
to public-transport in my city and in turn help me in not using my own
Two-Wheeler or Car for commuting, this way i could contribute my 102
paise[2 cents] to Less-Traffic
Currently we have a data layer,collected information and also been
able to Geotag all to build a good Algorithm for geo-referencing and to
help in identifying Alighting points, so you may always [98%] get a
connecting bus through Source-Destination.
We hope to bring in some difference to every city with our own little
contribution, you could expect in coming days to the updated and
hopefully realtime [GPS feeds] of public transport for many cities in
India and also to provide you this information on Mobile App, SMS based
search.The version you have here is still in BETA[in Geeky way]
